KGM Vietnam & Zak World of Facades Vietnam Conference

On October 26, 2023, at the GEM Center conference venue, KGM Vietnam had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious global conference on the design and technical aspects of building facades called Zak World of Façades. This highly anticipated event brought together experts in the field, such as architects, engineers, and designers from around the world, to exchange ideas on advanced developments and address key challenges in the field of building facade technology. Zak World Of Facades focused on the historical evolution of building facade technology and the importance of sustainability, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive review of technological advancements and their impact on building facade engineering activities.

In the face of rapidly advancing technology and increasing concerns about sustainability, it has become crucial for experts in this field to stay updated on the latest trends and developments. Particularly, after the Grenfell ACM frontage fire in London in 2017, the safety of building facades has become a top priority. To address these concerns and ensure the future of sustainable building design, KGM Vietnam has actively participated in conferences to absorb valuable insights and knowledge from experts and researchers in the industry.

At the conference, various topics were discussed, including the fire resistance performance of easily combustible building facades, energy efficiency in buildings, the integration of renewable energy, and advancements in facade systems and materials. The conference also emphasized the significance of energy efficiency in buildings, big data analysis, the integration of renewable energy, and green energy systems - moving towards the complete elimination of CO2 emissions.
